OUR OFFER

Akademia Stosowania Prawa is a firm that has in its offer a broad range of trainings on Polish law.

Our most popular lectures are those on Labour Law and Tax Law. However we also offer trainings on Public Procurement Law, enforcement and securing of debts, Contract Law, liability of members of management and supervisory boards in companies as well as lectures on general aspects of Company Law, Administrative Law procedure, Copyright Law, Antimonopoly Law and Telecommunications Law.

On your request we can prepare special training on selected aspects of Polish law.

CONCEPT OF TRAININGS

The training programmes offered by Akademia will provide its participants with valuable support in their professional development and will strengthen their position on the increasingly competitive market.

Our team of lecturers consists of lawyers who advise demanding corporate and individual clients on daily basis. They will share their knowledge and experience, analyze step by step the most complex issues, help in interpretation of law, suggest correct solutions without excessive recourse to legal theory.

During the training we focus on giving examples and resolving problems in groups. Our trainings are “interactive” – the participants can ask questions regarding problems arising in practice. The lecturer will try not to leave any question without answer.

LECTURERS

Our lecturers are excellent lawyers cooperating with reputable firms. They were among the best students at leading Polish universities and held scholarships at foreign law schools. They gained experience in the best advisory firms and corporations, which make high demands on its employees. They possess wide theoretical knowledge and apply it every day. They work as legal advisors (radca prawny), tax advisors (doradca podatkowy), solicitors (adwokat) or have PhD degrees in law.

MATERIALS

During the training the participants receive detailed, carefully prepared materials which help to systematize and consolidate their knowledge and allow them to get acquainted with notions used in the given field of law. These materials can be of use long after the training has ended and the body of knowledge and information contained in them can be very helpful in the participants' daily work.

COMFORT DURING THE LECTURES

In order to make the training process a more efficient one we have made an effort to assure good conditions and a pleasant ambiance during the lectures. PARTNERS

The Akademia was established by the legal adviser (radca prawny) Monika Drab-Grotowska, who conducts a private law firm and specialises in litigation in Labour Law, Civil Law and general issues of Business Law. She has had many years of experience in lecturing gathered while delivering professional trainings designed to prepare candidates for state exams to qualify as expert auditors (biegły rewident), tax advisers (doradca podatkowy), chief accountants (główny księgowy), as well as commercial trainings organised for some of the biggest firms, state administration and courts. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at Wrocław University and completed four years apprenticeship for legal advisers at the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw. She worked in the Department of Brokerage Houses in the Securities and Exchange Commission. She was deputy director in the Agency of Privatization, has had long practice in a law firm, was a member of supervisory boards and management board of investment company. She is co-author of a book entitled “Securities and futures – legal and accounting aspects”.

The co-originator of the Akademia is legal adviser (radca prawny) Konrad Grotowski. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University (1998). He completed a four year apprenticeship for legal advisers at the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw (2004). He was employed in the Department of Investment Funds of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and from 1999 to 2001 in the Warsaw office of the international law firm Allen & Overy. From the end of 2001 until 2005 he cooperated with Wardyński and Partners, the second largest law firm in Poland. From 2005 he manages his legal advisor’s firm and cooperates with one of the largest law firms in Poland. In 2006 he worked also in London as a secondee in one of the leading law firms in City. He specializes in Civil and Commercial Law. He advises the biggest foreign and Polish companies in lawsuits (including arrangement and bankruptcy proceedings). He worked on many M&A transactions, securing of the debts, infrastructural projects (agreements pertaining to the construction, operation and financing of a motorway) and commercial contracts.
